Since this in now the third time I've written this post, it's looking like my personal challenge is just getting this down and posted...But the real challenge for me is money. I've been unemployed for awhile now, due to health reasons, and the loss of my income has been devastating.
We are normally very much stretched to our limit, but now...Well, it's down right scary.
So I've challenged my self to make the up coming holidays fun, filled with family and extremely frugal. I began this process by making several things to give away this season. I've made paper cone wreaths, geo-mesh wreaths, garland, coasters, paper flowers and many more things for upcoming birthdays (and a surprise wedding and the showers for the bride.)
I hope to have a complete Christmas shower present for my soon-to-be niece.
The wedding is in the afternoon on a Saturday. There will be a light refreshments following the ceremony. Not even a proper wedding reception.
Why would you schedule a wedding for 2:00 in the afternoon? Is that so there is no reason for a reception?
That would be my guess.
I hope the new bride isn't made to feel badly because she's pregnant. These things happen. I know another young person in our area, also pregnant, and her own mom did not attend her wedding.
Foolish, foolish, foolish.
Children are a gift from God, no matter the timing.
So now I'm scrambling to create wedding and shower gifts without spending any money. In addition to the Christmas gifts I'm making-without spending any money! I just hope they turn out as well as they all look online. And that they will be liked by the recipients.
